From start to finish, this well-paced route links Entebbe with Uganda’s most rewarding wildlife and primate regions.
- Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe
First, meet your representative at Entebbe International Airport, transfer to your hotel and join your guide for a safari briefing.
- Day 2
Shoebill tracking & Ziwa
Next, explore the Mabamba wetlands in search of the shoebill, then journey north to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary area.
- Day 3
Rhinos & Murchison Falls
Afterwards, track southern white rhinos on foot at Ziwa, continue to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the Top of the Falls.
- Day 4
Game drive & Nile boat safari
The following morning, search for wildlife on a game drive before cruising the Nile towards the base of Murchison Falls.

Murchison Falls to Kibale
Then, travel south through changing landscapes to the forested Kibale region, Uganda’s celebrated chimpanzee country.

Chimpanzees & Queen Elizabeth
In Kibale, join a guided chimpanzee trek. Afterwards, continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Game drive & Kazinga Channel
The next day, explore the savannah on a morning game drive. Later, take an afternoon boat safari along the wildlife-rich Kazinga Channel.

Ishasha sector & Bwindi
Next, cross the Ishasha sector and watch for its tree-climbing lions before continuing into the highlands of Bwindi.
- Day 9
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
In Bwindi, trek with an expert ranger to meet a habituated mountain gorilla family in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Afterwards, you may choose an optional Batwa cultural experience.
- Day 10
Bwindi to Lake Mburo
Afterwards, travel to Lake Mburo National Park. Before a relaxed sundowner, you may arrange an optional traditional cattle-keeping experience.
- Day 11
Nature walk, Equator & departure
Finally, begin with a guided nature walk, then return towards Entebbe with a stop at the Equator before your airport transfer.

Because gorilla treks vary in duration and terrain, the forest can feel steep, muddy and humid. Therefore, we recommend a reasonable level of walking fitness. However, tell the safari team about mobility considerations when enquiring so they can offer practical guidance.
