About this Safari

This eight-day journey blends Uganda’s most remarkable wildlife encounters with immersive cultural exchanges, all underpinned by indulgent comfort and bespoke experiences. Your safari not only opens doors to extraordinary wilderness but also leaves a legacy of conservation and community empowerment.
Day 1 | Arrival in Entebbe
Step into Uganda with grace and ease. After a VIP meet & greet at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be chauffeured to Hotel No.5, an intimate boutique retreat of elegance and serenity. Relax in your suite, framed by lush gardens and soft contemporary design. As the sun dips low, embark on a private Lake Victoria sunset cruise. With champagne in hand, watch fishermen paddle home in dugout canoes as the horizon blazes gold and crimson. A gourmet dinner awaits upon return, perhaps freshly caught tilapia paired with fine South African wine.

Day 3 | Chimpanzee Habituation - Bigodi Community Experience
Today offers an extraordinary privilege: a chimpanzee habituation experience. Spend hours with researchers and rangers as they follow our closest relatives, documenting behaviors and forging bonds of trust. Few wildlife encounters bring you this close. After lunch, walk into the Bigodi Wetlands Sanctuary, where rare primates swing in the trees and shoebills hide in papyrus. Your visit directly funds education and women’s craft initiatives, turning conservation into community empowerment. Back at Kibale Lodge, indulge in a spa treatment or toast the day with sundowners as the forest hums with life.

Learn how biodiversity protection and community livelihoods intertwine here. By afternoon, the road leads you into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Check in at Bwindi Lodge or Gorilla Forest Camp, where luxury cottages perch on the edge of mist-draped jungle. Tonight, dine by firelight with the haunting call of forest crickets all around.

Through music, dance, and storytelling, the Batwa share their ancestral connection to the forest. This exchange not only preserves their traditions but also provides sustainable livelihoods.
