On arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda and after finalizing the formalities, you shall be welcomed by your guide, who will then drive you to your hotel.

After breakfast, you will proceed to visit Mabamba swamp where most of the birding is by canoeing, as you look out for the rare Shoebill Stork, African Water rail, Allen’s and Purple Gallinule, Squacco, Goliath, Purple, and Grey Herons, a variety of Egrets. After you shall then drive to Kibale National Park; along the way you will pass many tea plantations.

Today you will track the most famous inhabitants of Kibale National Park, the chimpanzees. Kibale National Park has an area of 795 km2 containing a tropical forest and is home to 13 primate species including chimpanzees. It has the highest number of chimpanzees in Africa. After the trek, you will head for a local lunch at Tinka’s home where you will experience how local food is cooked and served, thereafter proceed and have an afternoon cultural experience in Bigodi community.

Today after breakfast, you will walk through from the edge of Kibale National Park to the Kasenda Crater Lakes. (Approx 3-4hrs). You will walk through Villages and Tea plantations. You will enjoy this scenic breathtaking route and explore one of the crater lakes on foot. You will then drive to your next accommodation.
Hotel Margherita | Meal Plan: B,L,D
Today you will take a hike on Mt. Rwenzori. The central circuit starts at the Rwenzori Mountaineering Services offices at Nyakalengija. The trail begins by passing through farmland to the park boundary beyond which it follows the Mubuku River, crossing its Mahoma tributary before starting a long, steep climb up onto a massive ridge to reach Nyabitaba hut. The hike takes around 6 -7 hours. During this part of the trip, you may hear chimpanzees and see black and white colobus, blue monkeys and the brilliantly coloured Rwenzori Turaco.
Nyabitaba Hut on Mt. Rwenzori | Meal Plan: B,L,D
After breakfast, embark on an exciting golden monkey trekking adventure in Volcanoes National Park. Explore the dense bamboo forests as you search for and observe the playful golden monkeys. Spend time photographing their antics and learning about their behaviors. In the afternoon, engage in a cultural experience by visiting local communities and immersing yourself in Rwandan traditions. Learn about traditional crafts, music, and dance, and interact with the locals. Return to your lodge for dinner
Enganzi Lodge | Meal Plan: B,L,D
Today after breakfast, you will drive to the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Ishasha Sector. In Ishasha you will have a game drive in search of the unique tree-climbing lions. After you will drive to the sandbanks of Ishasha on the edge of the Ishasha River where you can experience the wildlife at close quarters as the hippos splash and play in the river a few metres away.

Today you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This fascinating mountain forest hosts chimpanzees and spectacular birds. There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon and other beautiful forest species. You will enjoy a nature walk through the forest where you will either take the Kashasha River Trail (17km, 7hrs walk) or the Ivy River Trail (14km, 4 hrs walk). Along the way, you will see monkeys, Dukiers, bush pigs, various bird species and butterflies.

Today, you will hike to Lake Mutanda from Rubuguri junction. The lake and cultivated shoreline are home to several bird species like the Hadada Ibis and Crested Crane. The land area is dotted with homesteads and villagers can be seen cultivating and attending to their livestock. On arrival, you will enjoy a boat ride on Lake Mutanda, one of the most beautiful places in Uganda. On a clear day, you can see the 3 volcanoes in the distance.

This morning you will get up very early for the gorilla trekking. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours but is well worth the effort. After which you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi to your accommodation.

Today, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. You will enjoy a boat ride on Lake Mburo. The Lake attracts various species of birds species including flame head Barbet, Long-tailed Zitting Cisticola (Tabora), White-backed Night Heroin, Red-faced barbet, Cocqui Francolin, Red-billed Wood Hoopoe, Emerald spotted wood dove, papyrus Gonolek, Rufous-bellied Heron, white-winged warble among others.

You will get up early morning for a guided nature walk and game drive and return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. In the afternoon you will proceed to Kampala crossing the equator and later drive to Entebbe to catch your flight back home.
