Immerse yourself in Nyungwe National Park's rich biodiversity, explore the canopy walk, and potentially glimpse colobus monkeys. The highlight? Trekking magnificent mountain gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, followed by a visit to the Kigali Genocide Museum.
Day 1 | Arrival in Kigali
On arrival at Kigali International Airport and after finalizing the formalities, you shall be welcomed by your guide, who will then drive you to your hotel.

Day 2 | Drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park
After breakfast you will drive to Nyungwe Forest. Nyungwe Forest National Park protects the largest single tract of Montagne forest remaining in Africa. It is a remarkably a rich center of biodiversity, with 86 mammal species, 280 birds, and about 100 varieties of orchid. It is the most important birding site in Rwanda. You will visit the Nyanza King’s palace which is on your way to the park.

Day 3 | Guided Canopy Nature Walk
Early morning, you will be served breakfast and after transfer for a canopy walk within the forest. While on the canopy walk, you will be able to spot a variety of bird species within the forest. look out for birds like the Rwenzori Turacco, black and white casqued hornbill and also do not miss spots of large troops of colobus monkeys. Thereafter, you will proceed to Volcanoes National Park for an overnight.

Day 4 | Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast you will drive to Ruhengeri. You will experience the highlight of your trip by trekking the mountain gorillas of our planet in Volcanoes National Park. After the trek, in the afternoon you may have an optional walk to the Ruhengeri town and Market.

Day 5 | Drive to Kigali & Departure
Today, you will drive to Kigali town, Visit the genocide museum as well as have a short city Tour of the capital city. You will depart for the Airport and take your flight back home.
