About this Safari

This Ugandan adventure starts in Entebbe. Track rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, witness the mighty Murchison Falls, and enjoy a boat ride on the Nile. Trek chimpanzees in Kibale, search for tree-climbing lions in Queen Elizabeth National Park, and culminate with a thrilling gorilla trek in Bwindi.
Day 1 | Arrival in Entebbe
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, you will be assisted by one of our representatives through immigrations and baggage collection and after finalizing the formalities, our representative will lead you to your safari guide who will welcome you and then drive you to your hotel.

Day 2 | Rhinos & Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast you will drive to Murchison Falls National park, This is the biggest National park in Uganda with vast species of flora and fauna, however, on your way to Murchison falls National park, you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, here you will have a walking Safari, tracking the Southern White Rhinos that have been re-introduced in Uganda, have a local lunch and In the afternoon proceed to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park for an overnight at your accommodation.

Day 3 | Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Start your day early with a morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, where you’ll see some of the park’s amazing wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and lions. In the afternoon, take a boat safari on the Nile River and see crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of bird species.

Day 4 | Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, you will head to the Top of the falls, you may choose to hike or just view the waterfalls without hiking, whichever you choose, you will have an excellent experience. After, you will drive to Kibale National Park. Along the way you will pass-by many tea plantations. On the way you may stop in Fort Portal. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at your accommodation.

Day 5 | Chimpanzee Trekking & Queen Elizabeth National Park
On this day after breakfast you will head for Chimpanzee tracking and enjoy a wonderful forest experience with a ranger. Kibale National Park has an area of 795km2 which contains a tropical forest and is home to 13 species of primate including chimpanzees, after trekking the Chimpanzees, you will head back to the lodge for lunch and thereafter proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoy a game drive on your way in as you head to you accommodation.

Day 6 | Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Have an Early Morning Game Drive in the park. You will be able to spot a variety of mammal species that include Lions, Hippos, Buffaloes, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, Elephants and the elusive Giant Forest Hog in this park. The Primates include Chimps, Black and White Colobus Monkeys, Blue, Black faced Red Colobus, and Red-tailed monkeys and Olive Baboons and many plant species not leaving out the birds. Return to the Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you shall have a boat ride on Kazinga Channel exploring more of the beauty of this park.

Day 7 | Game Drive in Ishasha & Bwindi Impenetrable
Depart for Bwindi National Park in the Morning. On your way you will have a game drive in Ishasha sector which is the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National park that has many Tree Climbing Lions, then continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas. This fascinating mountain forest hosts chimpanzees and spectacular birds. There are 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon and other beautiful forest species.

Day 8 | Gorilla Trekking
This morning you will get up very early to prepare for the Highlight of your Safari, Gorilla Trekking. You will drive to the briefing station, depending on which sector your Gorilla trek is located. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth and a highlight for this tour. The trek will take between 2 and 6 hours, but is well worth the effort, when you finally meet the Gorillas, you will be given one full hour in close range with them and after, head back to the lodge for a late lunch in case you didn’t carry packed lunch.

Day 9 | Drive to Lake Mburo & Game Drive
Today, drive to Lake Mburo National Park. This might be the smallest savanah park in Uganda but so beautiful. This park has the highest number of Zebras in Uganda that even at the entrance, you are able to see as many zebras and other animals before you enter. You will therefore have a game drive as you enter the park and head to you accommodation.

Day 10 | Nature Walk, Game Drive & Departure
You will get up early morning for a guided nature walk and game drive return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. In the afternoon you will proceed to Kampala crossing the equator and later drive to Entebbe to catch your flight back home.
